It was a busy Friday to be a Molalla High School graduate.
On top of a graduation rehearsal ahead of Saturday's ceremony, Molalla grads all paid a visit to the elementary schools they attended, part of a district requirement for all graduates. It was a fun visit, though, as the graduates quickly realized upon stepping through those elementary doors both how fast time has gone by and how slow. Students said hello to former teachers and staff, and marveled at how some things change and some things stay the same. They enjoyed their former playgrounds, visited office staff and enjoyed pizza and other snacks.
Following the elementary school visits, graduates then boarded buses that would take them to graduation rehearsal. And to wrap up the day, graduates then met back at the high school on Friday evening for the highly anticipated graduate parade around town, with the families and friends of graduates giving them a warm send off under near-perfect weather.
